Tensor is shortlisted as a finalist for the Outstanding Security Performance Awards 2018

Tensor plc, the UK based, award winning market leaders in the design, manufacture and installation of security, access control, attendance monitoring and energy management/monitoring solutions is proud to announce that is has been shortlisted as a finalist for the 2018 Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) in the "Outstanding Security Equipment Manufacturer" category.

Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) recognise and reward companies and individuals across the security sector. The OSPAs are designed to be both independent and inclusive, providing an opportunity for outstanding performers, whether buyers or suppliers, to be recognised and their success to be celebrated.

The criteria for these awards are based on extensive research on key factors that contribute to and characterise outstanding performance, such as a focus on customer needs, the quality of staff, innovative and adaptive senior management staff and excellent internal and external procedures and processes.

Professor Martin Gill, founder and director of the OSPAs comments: "The OSPAs are about recognising excellence, the truly outstanding performers who project the best image of security and all the good it can do. The aim of this summit is to contribute to excellence by bringing different thought leaders together; people who excel and can offer their own insights for debate. Providing the opportunity to listen to what the opinion formers think and contribute to the discussion about how we can improve what security does and how it is perceived. The quality of what we have in the future will depend on the quality of debate we have now."

Winners will be announced at an evening awards ceremony hosted by recently retired Chief Constable, Mick Creedon QPM on Thursday, 1 March 2018 at the Royal Lancaster London. It will be preceded by the inaugural OSPAs Thought Leadership Summit, giving the UK's security sector the opportunity to listen to a line-up of high-profile speakers and providing a platform to debate key issues facing the industry.
