Tensor Awarded as Official Supplier for Crown Commercial Service

After a long tender process, Tensor plc is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract RM6257 Security - Physical, Technical and Support Services for Crown Commercial Service (CCS) until 30 April 2026.

CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

This is not the first time that Tensor plc has collaborated with the executive agency of the Cabinet Office. In May 2019, Tensor plc was appointed as an official supplier on the RM6089 Workplace Services Framework Agreement for CCS.

This time, the agreement with the CCS consists of being suppliers of security services that will be used by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public Sector Bodies, namely police, health, fire and rescue, local authorities, education and development administrations.

The Framework will have 4 lots in total - Tensor has been appointed for lot 3, RM6252 - Security - Physical, Technical and Support Services. Services included by Tensor for UK Public Sector Bodies are:

guardian services, for instance mobile and static patrolling, manning of receptions, dealing with visitors and monitoring CCTVs.

installation and maintenance of security systems, for example, CCTV, alarms, perimeter fencing and locks

advisory services

risk and security evaluations
