"Strengthening our biometric attendance system, in the next few months we will be attaching it with the accounts department, which will automatically deduct salary if any municipal employee or officer marks his/her attendance more than 15 minutes later than the start of office hours. We will ensure that no manipulation and tampering of attendance records take place" said a representative for the local authority.
