With 102 employees across 3 sites (2 in Ely and 1 in Haydock), Deanta UK discussed that a time and attendance system was necessary, thus, proceeded in installing Tensor.NET and the Self-Service Module (SSM). The decision maker Tanya Pallister, HR Manager, explained to the Tensor reporter that before Tensor "I had no platform for HR and information, so that was a big aim for me personally and my department. We also wanted to make the time and attendance process more streamlined."

Following the installation, Mrs. Pallister went on maternity leave, and during that time her maternity cover suggested using a Tensor time and attendance system due to using a Tensor system in her previous job and being impressed by it.

Mrs. Pallister included that she shortlisted two companies to improve Deanta's time and attendance system, and chose Tensor because "visually it looked nicer and is more user friendly. I also felt like there were lots of hidden charges with the other company."

"No, I don't recall anything being tricky with the hardware or software installations," was the answer Deanta's HR Manager gave to the Tensor reporter when discussing if there were any issues with the install.

When asked what she likes most about the Tensor system, Mrs. Pallister replied: "My favourite part is the SSM - it's nice and easy to use."

Mrs. Pallister has often been in contact with Tensor's Helpdesk, and she described the service as "really good, very clear and helpful."

Value for money is something Tensor prides itself on, which is exactly what Deanta's HR Manager described Tensor as when asked whether she would recommend Tensor to other companies: "I would, yes. Tensor is great value for money."

Summing up Tensor's time and attendance system in a few words, Mrs. Pallister said, "Useful because it allows me to hold information that I wasn't able to before."
