Sun Valley Install Tensor Time, Attendance and Access Control System

Sun Valley Foods, a recognised leader in the European food industry, recently have installed a WinTA system to control access control at their UK sites. From turnstiles and car park barriers to internal doors the system had to allow the staff to gain access quickly while providing an accurate procedure for accounting for all members of staff and visitors in emergency situations.

The external readers which are used for the turnstiles and car park barriers are designed to IP65 standard and can the located outside without further protection. Every reader's security level can be set for any time of day and therefore access control patterns can be set for each shift and area.

Sun Valley use the Time and Attendance facility not only for employee attendance monitoring but also for job costing. With the simple use of a Smart Card and input device (keypad, barcode scanner etc), employees book time against jobs to produce a full cost analysis and breakdown of time spend on each one. Real time reports show jobs that are over budget or those approaching their budget limit.

Sun Valley's fire alarm system is integrated their with WinTA allowing the Fire Roll call facility in WinTA. The Fire Roll Call printer automatically prints when the Fire Alarm Activates allowing a fast and accurate procedure for accounting for all members of staff and visitors.
